Sorry.......I have read countless articles on all the facts but that's what I bought both of my Babies for to be Official Bed warmers. My male Artie only slept with me the first 3 months that I had him and then he eventually grew out of it, now he sleeps on the floor or in one of the wicker dog beds @ the bottom of my side of the bed. Abigail my female is a little over a year old and she sleeps in between our legs or right up against our back. Actually any where she can squeeze in? A queen size bed is not big enough!
But as far as "Pack Leader" and their "Training" I do not have any problems with them and If I do it has nothing to do with sleeping with us?
I used to have sleeping problems, but once we go to "Bedtime" and we are all settled in nothing moves, we are all asleep! Unless they hear an unusual noise they are on guard. You will know if there is an intruder. But I will say that I have other Breeds of Dogs, from a Rottweiler to a Labrador Retreiver and I never let them sleep with me in my bed! IMO I think it's a problem with the larger breeds, it is alot harder to dominate them so I'm sure that applied to them. Plus my Yorkie's are very clean compared to an outdoor pet.
