My friend has 4 pits, yes they are good animals, but I wouldn't trust them at ALL!!! She had to pour concrete, get individual kennels, put tops over the pens, and lock the gates....good dogs...right!!! Watch your babies close, b/c if they are "game bred" they'll get 'em... oh, I have seen pits climb trees, so a six foot fence would be peachey. BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!
