nah.. they'll probably hook up with equally freeloading bf's and husbands who feel entitled to have the inlaws buy their homes, buy their cars, give them jobs where they don't have to do squat, etc etc.

i think what's really sad is, mtv is so popular amongst the teens and tweens. kids will watch this show and thing as if it's the norm. that their parents SHOULD throw them a big extravagant party. that it's not out of the ordinary for children to disrespect their parents. or, make it sound as if bad behavior is "okay" because it's at least not as bad as those spoiled "super sweet 16er's". it gives the impression to kids that wastefulness, stubborness, and selfishness is "cool" and "fun", and "gee, i wish i can be previledged like one of them so i can get whatever i want and the word 'no' would never be in my parent's vocabulary". i think the show's effects on impressionable teens and tweens is what annoys me the most.
