My little one has dry skin as well. However, I bought a hypoallergetic shampoo at the vet. I am not sure of the name as it is at home and i am not. But, it helped my Capone out greatly. (it is soap free) Also, they have vitamin drops you can ask for from your vet that do wonders for the coat as well. He has a pretty shiny coat now. He only gets a little flaky when he goes to the groomers and they use a different shampoo on him. Also, Brushing helps ALOT! It helps the skin produse more oils and stimulates it. My groomer told me this...I did not believe him but I tried brushing him everyday for a week and what a difference! Hope this helps for you it helped for us.
