My AprilLove is the same way, she acts like I've been gone forever! She loves to lick, but not excessively. I think each dog is different. The kisses from the little ones are really not too bad
I have a bigger Bichon, (Bailey) that we nicknamed "Sir LickALot" because he is obsessive/compulsive about it. And his tongue is a lot bigger than the little yorkies and it can get discusting :-(
And then my Maltese is a very picky licker
, as she only gives small quick kisses and ONLY if she thinks you deserve one Lol
