Don't feel under pressure, this woman got a Yorkie at 85 years of age knowing these little ones can easily live 14 - 18 years. Because I am rescue I do feel compassion for this woman but my bigger concern would be for the dog and I would not feel guilty if I had to re-home down the road. If she has gone into Hospice if it is like the states, she is dying and nothing can change that but you can give her peace of mind for the time being and you can help this little one find the perfect forever home. It might be you or it might be someone else.
