Pixie has been on a raw diet for the last 4-5 months. I haven't had any problems what-so-ever and feel that she's healthier because of it. (She had dry skin and the itchies before I switched). I rotate between beef, chicken, turkey, lamb and venison. She also gets a variety of "people" food (cottage cheese, cherios, fruit, veggies, etc).
I found a holistic vet in my area that advocates a raw diet... Perhaps you could find one in your area that you could talk to about any concerns you may have. |
