What do you use to clean your floors? Maybe a chemical in the cleaner irritates her paws...

It could just be a bad habit too. Pixie will lick and lick every night before bed until I tell her to stop. I don't even think she realizes she's doing it...

You could try spraying a bit of bitter apple on her feet. I'd think that would help deter it. But I'd only do that if it's a bad habit. I'd hate for it to aggravate whatever is irritating her paws to begin with.

I like the shoe idea. You could try using little baby socks too. That might work. But then you'd have to keep an eye on them to make sure her hair doesn't mat under there... and that she doesn't pull them off and run away with them! (My pup does that with my socks! )
