We had Duffy, our Westie, neutered in December. The vet was running a special for Christmas. LOL (Duffy didn't think much of his gift) It was $25.00 to have him neutered.
When it was time to have Jasmine spayed in March, I went to another vet in another city. He was recommended by Jas's breeder. He specializes in small dogs. Jas weighs 5 lbs. I paid $85.00 to have her spayed and for pain meds, etc. I also paid $50.00 to have a blood test done on her before the surgery to make sure everything was alright. He recommended this but I didn't have to get it done. So just to have her spayed would have been 85.00. I paid 135.00 in all. They also pulled several of her baby teeth which needed to come out, but they said they didn't charge me for that as she was already under the anesthesia. |
