Me and you both!!! We actually had a hurricane hit on my 16th b'day (Hurricane Elouise
not sure if that is how you spell it but it is how you pronounce it!)so everything in town was closed. 2 days later I was driving my Dad crazy to take me down there so he did. Turns out he knew the person giving the driving tests and she told me that she would do it just for me, so I drove around the block and she said, "Go back...you passed"
I couldn't believe, all those months of practicing how to parallel park, and all I had to do was drive around the block
I was so happy!! My dad taught me how to drive by myself at 8 years old in the stadium parking lot, so I was more than ready to get out on the streets after 8 yrs of parking lots!!!
Have you ever heard Alan Jackson's song "Daddy let me drive" I love it it reminds me of my Dad!!
