The parvo virus could still be active so be very careful in introducing a new puppy. According to this article, the virus lives indoors for one month, in sunny areas outside 5 months, and in shady areas outside 7 months.

Was the puppy actually showing signs of parvo when you got him (i.e. not drinking, not eating, foul smelling diarrhea, vomiting)?

Don't want to take the side of an unreputable breeder, but most puppies will die sooner than 2 weeks if they came to you with parvo.
