Not really except be patient, it will happen eventually Smudger is 7 months old and he's only just got it
Everyone used to say "he will do it soon" or "he's only a baby" but I never believed that he would be trained, which is why I'm so pleased. I do let him out alot though every half hour while I'm at home. and he has 2 walks a day
