I caught the cocci very early and immediately treated. No Way would I have let any pup leave without a final fecal done to determine if they were all clear. That breeder who let Chanel go must have really not cared one way or the other if the pups were infected because as sick as you say she was the next week, you can bet it had been there a while. It doesn't do much to them at all in the early stage. Once it's been there and IF NOT TREATED it will manifest into diareaha, dehydration, vomiting, weight loss, many many problems that can result in death. I'm sorry Chanel had to go through that. |
Thank you Robbie. I know it's a very common problem - but breeders like YOU would take care of it immediately. I know if you knew a puppy was sold with this ...you'd be in constant touch with the new mom/dad ...and would do all it takes to clear it up and ensure it doesn't happen anymore.
All Chanel's Breeder did was add a CLAUSE to her contract removing herself from any responsiblility. She must have a HUGE problem with it to have to cover her a** with a rewritten contract a YEAR or so
after I got Chanel ...
When I saw that new revised contract I KNEW she is still selling sick puppies. I sure never asked her for money - I just wanted help with my brand new puppy and she kicked us both to the curb.
THAT's the difference with having ethics and not having them.
