I agree with BabyFidgette, our pets are sometimes like children, if given the option, they'd rather eat mcdonald's and hot dogs every day for every meal. but as a parent, we know that's not a quality meal. Supermarket brands such as Beneful is so full of artifical flavors and preservatives to make it "taste good" for our pets. Beneful may not the worst thing out there, like it's probably better than Alpo, but that's like saying BK Whoppers are better than McDonald's Hamburgers because it contains tomatoes and lettuce.

So I wouldn't be surprised if your pet gobbles it up. But not only are supermarket brands full of preservatives, by products, artifical flavors, and fillers, you also have to feed more of it which results in more body waste to scoop. Definitely in my book.
