My Bella had very dry flakey skin when I brought her home from the breeders. I give her fish oil on her food and the dry skin has stopped completely. I also bought some extremely gentle shampoo from the vet (Dermacare) which I think helps her skin from drying out from her baths. I bought the fish oil from Petsmart--it's in a white bottle with a pump. I also use oatmeal shampoo from time to time to prevent the itchies.
