Compare these first 10 ingredients from Beneful's Simmer Chicken Medley entree: "Water sufficient for processing, chicken, wheat gluten, liver, green beans, meat by-products, corn starch-modified, carrots, wild rice, white rice"
against these first 10 ingredients from Merrick's Grammy Pot Pie canned food: "Chicken, Chicken Broth, Chicken Liver, Fresh Red Jacket New Potatoes, Fresh Carrots, Fresh Snow Peas, Fresh Red Delicious Apple, Potato Starch-modified, Olive Oil"
and against the first 10 ingredients of Wellness Chicken canned food: "Deboned Chicken, Chicken Broth, Chicken Liver, Ocean Whitefish, Ground Whole Barley, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Flax Seed, Canola Oil, Guar Gum"
and the first 10 ingredients of Solid Gold Chicken and Liver canned food: "Chicken, Chicken Broth, Chicken Liver, Ocean Fish, Carrots, Brown Rice, Flaxseed Oil, Cottage Cheese, Oat Bran"
and the first 10 ingredients of Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul canned food: "Chicken, turkey, chicken broth, duck, salmon, chicken liver, whole grain brown rice, whole grain white rice, oatmeal, carrots"
it think it's pretty obvious how Beneful compares against quality pet foods. their advertisements gives you the impression that it's full of quality natural ingredients but in actuality, its full of by-products and fillers.
