 Food Amount for Puppy
First of all, I want to thank everyone for all of their replies to my first post about two weeks ago (when I first got little Reesey). Since then, I have named her, and we are getting along great.
I have another question. I received my first shipment of Merrick food today (dry and the variety pack of canned). The canned food only recommends amounts for dogs that are at least 5 lbs (3/8 to 5/8 of a can per day). Reesey only weighs 1.2 lbs (at 8 1/2 weeks). How much do you guys recommend I give her? I was also wondering how much of the dry food I should feed her. I'm trying to avoid wasting a lot of food by putting twice as much as she needs in her bowl.
Also, the last advice I received was to leave the food out all day. When can I start establishing feeding times and how many times a day should I feed?
