I got my yorkies to stop bitting by spraying bitter apple on my fingers...letting her bite me and saying ouch. She associates the tast and sound to being bad. lol. The Bitter Apple really works but if you try it wash your hands after because the taste is nausiating...lol. I made the mistake of forgetting and found out the bad way. It did finally stop the bitting and chewing. I sprayed it on things they chewed on and they stopped then I introduced toys which they could have and could enjoy chewing on. |
