When I got up last night with the pup he was actually latched on !
so I let him stay that way for a while then bottle fed him. I know after 7 days mom is pretty dried up but I think if he keeps at it her milk will come back in. I think he figured out he has to open wider. I'm going to try to get him to latch on before every feeding. By the way he weighed 3 1/8 ounces this morning!!
I'm curious why more breeders haven't replied....? Do they let these puppies fade away because it is exhausting and extremely time consuming work or do they take responsibility for the little lives they bring into this world?? I can't have been the only breeder this has happened to. I'm not trying to start a frenzy here but isn't that why we have this forum to help each other out?
