I am like you. I think there is more expression with their ears down. They are precious. The first thing I asked my vet was what do I do about Hercules ears. He always says - Leave his ears alone. Every time I would take him in for his check up. He would laugh and say his ears are fine. His wife has two Yorkies - one has ears up and on has ears down.
