I've always heard mother's day weekend is when you should plant. (Notice I said YOU, not me....I don't do yard stuff). My husband already killed 9 tulip plants. He brought them home and then transplanted them into the ground. of course they are all dead, you don't transplant tulips! I may not DO yard work, but I KNOW what is supposed to be done! It did look nice for about a day and a half!
