 Sprain or Broken Leg??

Sorry to hear your baby is exhibiting some discomfort..Our Cody is 9 months old and was diagnosed with Legg Calve Perthes disease--easily detected by an X-Ray. He was not crying or in any obvious discomfort but he would not use his hind leg and we knew somehting was wrong. Ask your vet to X-ray the hip--only way to tell if the disease is present. The positive is Cody is about 1 week post op and he is doing vry well. I understand your heart break seeing your Yorkie in discomfort, hopefully it is only a sprain and he will just need a bit of rest. If it is Perthes disease I would be happy to relay all information I have researched.
