I have three cats-one who ran away from the puppy,one who was disdainful and affronted and one-the youngest-who was curious. I started with the curious one and gave them treats together-chicken and ham, The cat has an insatiable appetite. He actually helped my pup to eat! He had to learn not to chase the pup in tha garden at night and bowl her down. They are now the best of friends.They will even share a basket together.The aloof cat tolerates her and will sleep on the bed at the same time-but at the other side. The nervous cat is still nervous,but will sometimes sit in front of the heater while she is in the same room! Progress,but it took about a month to settle down. The curious cat is very much the alpha animal in our house-he eats first and gets the best spots!
