You guys are really lucky, I would have loved to have had my children with me during the day, and the same for my dogs (i just went back to work). He should be ok, most people who pad train do so because of the convenience of them being able to potty anywhere. Airports, hotels, etc. He may have more accidents at first just because it is a change.
