 Help with 6 day old puppy!
Hi all,
Hoping You can send me some tips on how to get some weight on this little guy.
I have been bottle feeding him for 6 days, Mom has very small nipples and he tried hard to latch on but couldn't.
He is eating Esbilac and I have added nutrical for extra calories. I'm feeding him every 1 and 1/2 hours during the day and 2 and 1/2 hours at night ( I gotta get some kind of rest).
Called the vet and he said I'm doing everything I possibly can and to continue, but he hasn't gained much all week and I'm concerned for him, he is 3 ounces from 2 3/4 at birth.
Just curious if any of you have tried something else and it worked. |
