 Please help me-not sure what to do

I am a first time dog owner and he is the cutest Yorkie ever. However we have had some problems with him over the past few months. He has had pancreatitis and a high bacteria count I think called cholosteridium(not sure that's spelled right) Anyway he was doing fine and then he had two vaccines, Lyme and Giardia and I was also instructed to give him his heart worm medication two days after that. Now he has blood in his stool. I need help because I talked to my vet and they think that this is probably just a reaction to the vaccines and to "ride it out" but I am worried because he has been sick in the past. It's weird because he sometimes has a little normal,formed stool but then the next time it will be half normal and half diarrhea. He is still eating and drinking, no vomiting or lethargy as of this morning. I don't know what to do or think. Please if anyone has ever heard about this type of reaction to vaccines that would help me to be more confident in the vet or if you have any other suggestions I would appreciate. I know this is a long message but I am worried and scared for him, please help. Thanks much. |
