I crate Twinkie while we are gone since she is so mischievious.... I don't need anything destroyed or piddled on while I'm gone (she gets mad when we leave without her & will pee anywhere she wants on the floor). However, I am going to come up with a way to block her in the kitchen for times when I am gone for a while since I don't think its fair to keep her locked up for too long, as it is, I am always cutting my plans short to come home to let her out (and the BF isn't too fond of always having to come home early to let her out). Twinkie does have the option to sleep with us in bed at night, her kennel is always on the bedroom floor with the door wide open, but lately she has chosen not to sleep with us and sleeps in her kennel (with the door open) instead. Kinda weird but I guess she feels safe in there.
