I'm kinda in the same dilema. I think i know the difference and i know for sure i have both kinds. One of my males is like cotton to touch and the others are like silk and their hair is thinner and lays flat on their bodies. My oldest female has wavy hair which isn't standard, but to me she is Beautiful! THe oldest male is perfect but only 2 lbs. He is a doll though, nice golden colors with long blue straight , heavy coat. He has silk hair i'm quiet sure of. I'm just guessing the other male i have has cotten hair. He is a beauty and lots and lots of hair. I've never been told which is what, so i'm coming up with my own conclusions. Would appreciate any input out there also.Thanks for YT
