Default Yorkie Shoes

My little Yorkie girl Mitzi has very tender paws. That's why I created shoes for her. Since all the shoes you can buy readymade are either too big or not comfortable I came up with the idea to cut the fingers off some garden gloves (trade mark "Brahma" with little raised rubber dots all around) and fix them on Mitzis feet with an elastic band with some little velcro pieces on the ends.

At first Mitzi didn't like them and she just stood there and didn't move a foot. But after a while she accepted them and now she won't walk without her shoes. Now she goes everywhere and I don't have to worry about glass splitters or a hot pavement. When we go to the beach she wears rubber gloves fingers to keep her paws dry.

Our Vet thinks that is a good idea and he recommends it for tiny dogs with the same paw problems.
