Default My little girl Holly

Is doing ok. I stopped all antibiotics for now. She has been on meds for 4 months now. I just thought enough is enough already you know what I mean? All of these meds can't be good for a maturing puppy right? She still has the cough but mostly in the morning and always after waking up from a nap. Which leads me to believe that maybe she has some kind of bacteria in her throat that my vet can't pinpoint. She is finally scheduled for a spaying and tracheal wash. She sounds very hoarse at first and then during the day after exercising she is a different dog. That is why I want to rule out tracheal collapse. When her airways are opened up she does fine. Anyway we'll see what the wash tells us. By the way any thoughts or experiences with having a dog spayed while still having some type of cough? Also for the unfortunate people that are dealing with tracheal collapse do your dogs still bark or is it hard for them to project their voice? Thanks everyone.
