That whole idea of stuffing a pet is just a bit too creepy for me.
My idea would be to just get a digital camera and/or a camcorder and take a TON of pics and clips of your little guy. That way, you can always sit back and reflect on a beloved pet, and see them in their true glory. If it's a video, maybe they'd be running around acting silly, or if it's a pic, maybe you caught a perfect moment. Seeing them more as a stuffed lifeless fixture would just make me sad most likely.
