I haven't used one before but I've also heard of people using eyelash/eyebrow combs. If you have an old one lying around the house you could use that. When I give Reagan a bath I put a little eye contact solution on a cotton ball and wipe the area real well. During the week I use a moustache comb to get them out and will wipe with a warm damp cloth if needed.
