I have a medium-sized Golden Ret - She is 65 lbs. We got Sherman when the golden was 1 year old and they get along great! For the first 6 months, I never let them play unsupervised. Sherman gradually learned to watch out when Freddie gets too excited. But, Freddie has learned to be very gentle with him. They never like to be apart. Freddie seems to know that Sherman is fragile so she is very careful. It's really cute!
