I bet that was a scary site. I was always afraid the plastic pieces wuold get stuck int he wind pipe. I went to the crib size mattress pads for my little ones. I got 4 of them. they stay pretty clean and I always have a back up handy. I just do a lot of washing. less expensive and safer.
