Thanks everyone for the caring words...they mean a lot.
This little Yorkie was obviously abused and never had a good home. The mandatory hold period at the shelter would have ended tomorrow ... I feel so sad about not being able to help her. I tried to work within the rules but it wasn't enough.
To my little Yorkie friend no longer with us: I apologize for the way your pervious owner(s), whoever they were, who teated you so badly.
I mourn for you and know that you are in a better place...
One good thing in all this is that I have learned what wonderful dogs Yorkies are and what a great caring community is here at Yorkietalk.com. Maybe I will adopt another Yorkie in honor of the little girl who just passed away... |
