I myself have also been weighing the differance in a town house vs the house I have now,I live on a private street,and have a homeowners assoc too.but I also have all of the yard work too, but if I leave on vacation,no one waters or does anything else,in a townhome,its a turn key,you walk out,go on vacation,and everything is taken care of,but now to find one that has an area for the yorkies,sence I really don't take time to walk them just to go potty,I love the doggy door to the back yard,but also would love a pool to bake in the sun,but if I can't find one that fits every want and need, then I will hire a gardner
