this is just a suggestion....so take it for what it's worth...you may need to get up at night to take your dog out to go potty. some nights i have to get up and go to the bathroom and i know my bladder is a heck of a lot bigger than our little yorkies bladders are~it's kind of unfair for us not to expect them to have to go at night. i am a light sleeper, so if wicket makes a peep in his crate i hear him and get up and take him out to potty right away.
