Gracie did this from the about time I got her at 2 1/2 months til about 6 months. It was funny because when the food would move around the bowl she would jump back because it make noise. But when I put it on the carpet she would eat it up. I was thinking it had something to do with the noise the food made when it was moving in the bowl as she was eating it. She is not too bad anymore I guess if she wants to eat she will deal with it and she does....she eats very well. I have however experienced this too. I am not sure other than the noise factor that would scare GRacie. Some strange unexplained Yorkie behavior to add to the list
