Patience and consistancy.
Your pup is young, so for now poddy pads are great.
Also my pups, piddle near their sleep area, sometimes wear they sleep.
So put a folded poddy pad in the kennel or crate.
I believe it is because they are young.
Take the pup outside when he gets up, and every few hours.
If you know his routine that is even better, if not you will.
Pups have small bladders so they have to go in the middle of the night.
That is where the poddy pads come in.
It takes me till my pups are about 6 months before they start going outside on their own and stop having accidents in the house
