Mayzie hated the harness--I tried it early on her. But when I finally took her outside with it on, she was so distracted that she didn't notice it. She gets excited when she sees it now because she knows it means outside.

While we are talking about harness: Can somebody explain to me how a "step in harness" goes on. I use only a harness but I hate the one I have. Do I understand correctly that a step in does NOT go around their neck?
