The Harness is the safest and you have alot more control of them when you take them out! a few vets have told me that a collar chokes them and really is not safe and can contribute to a collapsed trachea! introduce them to a harness when they are out of the risk of picking up parvo or other harmful things from public places & parks etc. while they are still quite young you can start by putting a harness on them and take them for a walk around the house or your yard.
