As long as you are careful in your research there are some very good on line schools. But of course there are some rip offs out there too. Make sure the school is fully accredited. In my industry you are required to have a 4 year degree. We do a very extensive back ground check and you would be surprised how many times it comes up that someone thinks they have a valid degree and they don't. They did the work, paid the money, but since the school is not accredited, the degree is not worth the paper its printed on. Ususally the ones who sound too good to be true are. You can not earn a 4 year degree in 6 months, etc. BTW, an Associates Degree is a 2 year degree. Good luck! |
