I am so sorry this happened. You have the right to walk your dog wherever and whenever you want to. I WOULD file a police report ASAP. If something happens or if he does something to you and your yorkie, especially since he knows where you live you will have it on record that he threatened you. You need to get it on record whenever someone makes a threat like that. If you ever end up in court against him and you tell the judge that guy threatened you, the judge will ask for a police report. If you don't have that, the judge will just call it hearsay. I would take all threats seriously if I were you. That guy shouldn't be able to do that. Maybe him seeing that the police have a record of the incident will shut that guy up. I hate all of the stigma people like him attach to us with little dogs! He needs to get over himself. If his dog barks outside and he doesn't like it, then he should bring it in or train it. |
