Thank you all for your responses, I truly appreciate it! Good news...pumpkin, chicken and rice and one more tablespoon of pumpkin and we have poop! He got up from a nap a little while ago and went to his pad and went with no whimpering! The entire family was excited. He was definately constipated. In regards to the mulch...any advice on how to keep him out of it or make it less attractive? I don't let him play in it, but we go outside for some fresh air and he runs right for it....I take him out and to the middle of the yard and he runs right back. We go back and forth and do this several times before he will finally stay out, but it's what we go through each time we go outside. Thanks again to all of you for your time. I can see that this site will be a great way to obtain excellent advice and reassurance. :-)
