I would let Diesel stay in bed with us for a while. I guess I just got lucky. He loved to snuggle and would crawl up on my pillow and go to sleep. Now he had his moments where he would want to do nothing but play. When it was time to go to sleep I would put him in his playpen and he would calm down after a bit and go to sleep. It might just take some time but he will get the hang of it. Congrats on your new baby.
