With my pup - I got some papers - showing the shots he had had - his birthdate - the fact that he could be registered, a receipt for my payment, etc, etc.... And - they also gave me a ton of stuff regarding taking care of my new pup with instructions to call them anytime 24/7 if I needed help. (I'm sure I forgot a lot that they gave me.)

It was several weeks later that I received the actual papers I needed to register my dog. They were filled out by the breeder with the parents names, #'s, and other information. I had to fill out the rest of these papers - the registered name I wanted my pup to have, my name, address, etc. --- write a check to pay the registration fee - and send them in.

Weeks later, I received the actual papers showing that my dog was registered.
