Tails are docked their first few days after birth. If his tail is not docked now, I would leave it as it is. Yorkies are very cute with tails. I heard they were going to stop docking the tails. I'm not sure why they started doing it in the first place. If Princess wasn't done I would leave her tail alone. I'm sure it hurts!!
Yorkies big or small, tail or docked, ears up, ears down, they all have hearts of gold, and we all love them the same!
