 constipation or diarrhea?
Good Morning --
I am hoping someone can provide just a little advice....I am a new yorkie mom (one week). I got a 9 week old ppuppy last Friday...everything has been great,the vet said he was perfect! unfortunately this morning each time he has tried to poo poo he whines and has difficulty...he finally goes, but it takes him a while. I assumed he was constipated and called the vet...they told me he actually had diarrhea? I hate to question my vet, but my husband doesn't believe it either. We were instructed to pull up his food that we had been giving him and for 24 hours put him on a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice and/or boiled hamburger and also give him pumpkin? Any experienced owners who can provide some reassurance would be great.
