My female went through the same thing when Ty died and she almost grieved herself to death. The ONLY thing that pulled her through was I went out and bought a yorkie for her. It didn't happen over night it took time but little by little she came around. But I have to say it took her a good year to get back to almost normal. She never became as she was before he died but now she's happy..just more reserved. I'm not saying that will help her I don't know but it's what helped Tasha..I"m sorry for your loss and hers. I wish there was more i could do.
