Hello everyone!!! It's been a while since I've on here...between work, 3 kids (including a baby) and recent surgery....it's been a handful to say the least....anyway, I wanted to share the good news with all of my YT friends (especially those of you who really helped me through the grief of losing Tinkerbell last December - in fact, today makes exactly 4 months since her death
Anyway, last Friday I FLEW TO KANSAS CITY, MO FROM PHILADELPHIA and I picked up my new baby...her name is Bella and she is a little less than two pounds...she looks just like Tinkerbell EXCEPT THAT SHE IS BADDDDDDDDDDD AS HELLLLLLLLLLLL....hahahaha..oh my!! Anyway, I finally got a chance to meet the breeder, Deb Sillers from amazingyorkies.com, and she was absolutely wonderful....we cried together, we laughed and hugged and just had a wonderful time. She picked me up at the airport and we had lunch and just shared a great day together. She was so worried about how I would handle seeing the new baby, but I did fine and it was love at first sight. I must admit, I had mixed emotions - guilt, confusion, feelings of betrayal and disloyalty - but as I said, once I saw Bella, I remembered what one of you posted in a previous thread (that a new puppy would be BESIDE Tinkerbell, not REPLACE her) and it was instant magic. Bella is feisty, bubbly and just a bundle of joy. I was so worried for the first few days - just paranoid at the thought that anything could happen to her, that I barely slept. But, as I said it has been a week and everything is going well. She is definitely more alert and playful than Tinkerbell, and she tries to get into everything! My daughters just love her and all I can say is she has certainly brought a new bright light of love into our lives. I will post her pic once I figure out how to do this avatar thing again. Thank you all for your continued support, outpour of love and kindness throughout this difficult, but now more bearable, time in my family's life.
